Snow White and Friends

This assignment is Propaganda. When I watch some of the Disney's Films, how human and animal are friendly to each other, sharing and respecting what mother nature provide to us, I think they sugarcoat the reality. Here the innocent looking Snow White stands in the middle of burning forest, the changing of environment hurts the animal, also the human.

I can't stop drawing girl and birds.

When I saw the pen and ink works by Zac Smith in SFMOMA in 2006, the art works amazed me. I love how he combined graphic and realistic element together in portrait. I was trying to design pattern into the girl portrait and making it more interesting to look at.
